Job Title: Sales Executive

Reports To: Sales Manager
Job Purpose:
To work as a member of the sales team and achieve new business sales against a Gross Margin target.
Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:
This is a new business role that also has some ongoing account management responsibility. Supported by the telemarking team booking appointments but will be expected to make their own in addition. Scalable has a focused portfolio and it is therefore important to build strong relationships with the key vendors as well as with customers.
Person Specification:
Requirements (essential):
- New business salesperson experienced in converged voice and data
- Preferably from a data background (IP and networking understanding is essential)
- With Juniper, Mitel and Extreme knowledge and skills
- With experience selling into the enterprise market (500 – 5000 user organisations)
- Ability to sell solutions to business people as well as IT / Technical Managers
- Will to win is essential, preferably with demonstrable proof of this (not necessarily in a sales role)
- Based in the south of England within 1 hour of London
- Must have own car and full driver’s license
Requirements (desirable):
- Security knowledge / security skills is advantageous
- Knowledge in any of the following verticals is advantageous; healthcare, local government, finance (tier 2), professional services (legal, accountancy), retail and media
- Understanding of voice services and WAN is an advantage
